Fly Pan Am- s/t (1999)

Fly Pan Am is a French Canadian post-rock/experimental band from the mid 90’s, heavily influenced by the Montreal avant-garde scene (Wiki). It’s good music but, well they’re French-Canadian, there is some weird aspect to all things French-Canadian that provokes mockery and discourages seriousness. Both these YouTube videos prove my point because the music is pretty good, and overall the visuals provide a good flow and background to the music, but then there’s something weird and fruity that is the trademark of French-Canadian culture.
Like the first one with the guy saying he can dance in the middle of a bowling alley while the girl refuses to look at him… What is that? What twit starts a music video like that?
Whatevesies. The music is OK, at least worth checking out.
