OK, someone in Oklahoma mistook this band for terrorists (Wiki), which proves many different points about French-Canadians and people from the mid-west… First off, only someone from Oklahoma would mistake a Canadian for a terrorist. The whole state believes Lord of the Rings is a true story.
Anyway, the band is good. Very good, definatly worth listening to, and the songs and album have an certain artistic flair. I’m not real into this style of music but I can appreciate the depth and art it eludes. It is like the second video I posted; the cinematography and spoken word draw the viewer in drawing closer attention to the music and it’s message.
I still can’t decide if I like the music but the videos are great. I haven’t been this impressed with a music video since the original Tear the Club Up Thugs video (with black and white footage of everyday Memphis pieced together into a video, that made an ok song into a great video).
I defiantly dig the videos, but the music, well, it’s made by French-Canadians, so…
