Lord Infamous- Lord Of Terror (1994)

Everyone has heard of Three6 Mafia, but virtually nobody outside of Memphis has heard the Lord of Terror tape (yes, tape, that’s how underground this was at the time). It is Lord Infamous’ first solo album, back in high school I looked endlessly for this album, the best I ever found was a couple of tracks I managed to download from Napster.
It took the marvels of the internet and cloud file storage to make this album accessible to everyone and not just the most dedicated of music collectors.
This is lo-fi, southern rap at it’s finest, poorly recorded and produced with a minimum of equipment, it demonstrates why Three6 Mafia rose to international fame. Hell, I don’t even like rap and I still listen to this recording.
